Is the Workers Party going to field its stalwart Png Eng Huat in the coming by-election in Hougang? It appears to be so as flyers introducing Mr Png to residents are distributed to many households in Hougang:
Formerly a deputy treasurer of Aljunied Constituency Committee, Mr Png was drafted into Hougang Constituency Committee by Mr Low last week, fueling speculations that he will be fielded as a candidate to contest the ward which was left vacant after the expulsion of its MP Yaw Shin Leong from the party.
