VIDEO: Big fat rat eating offerings in PAP-run Radin Mas estate

Posted by temasektimes on April 26, 2012

An irate resident took a video of a FAT rat eating leftover offerings on the ground in Radin Mas estate run by a PAP Town Council. Its MP is Mr Sam Tan.

“For quite some time now, the state of cleanliness in the estate has been poor. Every night, you can hear rats having a party, squealing in delight as they roam the area freely.By the way, you’ll see in the video that there’s plenty of burnt incense lying around in the middle of a commonly used walkway, causing much inconvenience to residents. The incense bin is not used, and town council says that residents have to pay $13,000 a year because of inconsiderate people burning incense on the walkway.”

  1. Sinkies can’t afford to pay for maintenance of HDB flats and they are the more established citizens. How does Tan Chuan Jin expect sinkies to buy HDB flats when he’s referring to our younger set of sinkies or our retired bo-gay lau ah peks to buy studio flats? Does he know what he’s talking about??

It is very common to see rats everywhere in Singapore these days but it does look like the situation in Radin Mas is really, really bad.

Honestly, I would have to say that Singapore has become a hub for rats and other pests.

DO YOU know why there are so many big, and fat RATS in Singapore?

That’s because the “CATS” (gahmen) are complacent, and lazy in serving its purpose in society. The “CATS” just lay back, relax and enjoy its life of luxury, velvet baskets, and fancy cat food. This nonchalant attitude invited the pesky “RATS” from foreign territories to invade, plunder and pilfer from the native inhabitants of the island. These rodents will continue to grow fat, and mutiple in the thousands, being a pest with their poor hygiene, and lack of social etiquette.

The native people needs a heroic “Pied Piper” to chase these rodents out of the island.

The MP can’t afford to employ a cleaner, so the rats help clean up the mess.

There could be more inside the drain, maybe its litter of mice as the rat seems to be running back and forth bringing food and dropping it into the hole in the drain.

Its not only Radin Mas. I live in Aljunied and it was terrible when PAP was there. I found WP has cleaned up the place very well.

The funny thing is that there was quite a few articles I have read about Aljunied under WP is worse which puzzles me. Must be certain area which I don’t go to or someone trying to be funny.
