Boyfriend of underage prostitute defends her: I believe she is ‘innocent’

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

Despite her photos being splashed all over in the internet accusing her of being the underage prostitute who caused the downfall of 48 men so far, one man has stood by staunchly by her side.

The boyfriend of Miss XXX, as she is now known due to a gag order imposed by the court claimed he is ‘sure’ that she is not the underage prostitute in the center of the scandal and that she has been ‘framed’.

One notorious porn site based overseas wrote he is still in a state of denial:

“And he is in full denial and unwilling to believe that xxx was a prostitute. But rumors of his girlfriend being an underaged social escort goes back two years and apparently their friends and inner circle knew about these rumors before last week. But sources indicate Alvin is claiming to everyone that his girlfriend has never worked as a prostitute and certainly never freelanced before, and that she is very innocent.”

In a fierce exchange with his friends on Facebook, the man who is currently serving his National Service in the navy, wrote:

“Hope this nonsense stop soon. Those that dunno anyhow insult/spread mouth rot and never recover.”

Miss XXX was described as having the following attributes on the online vice site:

She was described as having the following attributes on the site:

“1.60m tall, slim figure, C-cup breasts…(She) still has that naive girlishness, offers excellent sweet young thing, girlfriend experience….Advance booking for (her) is required, don’t leave it to least minute booking as it always almost won’t work!”

According to court documents obtained by the press, the underage prostitute had sex 58 times with the 48 men between 23 September 2010 and 24 October 2011.

Her diary includes chilling details such as the place and time of the sessions as well as the amount of time spent by each man bonking her.

Though she charged a ‘standard’ rate of $500, some of her clients such as former grassroots leader Chua Ren Sheng and Swiss banker Juerg Buergin were so pleased with her services that they offered her tips of between $100 and $200.

Among the 48 men already charged for having sex with her include 9 civil servants, a senior banker, a company director, a senior vice-president of a private company, lawyers, a senior police officer, the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong and prominent grassroots leader and high-ranking MOE official Chua Ren Cheng. Their ages range from between 21 to 48 years old.

Baey Yam Keng penned his name on petition to vouch for Lee Lip Hong’s character in court

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

Former Pei Chun Public School principal Lee Lip Hong may have disappointed many Singaporeans by having commercial sex with a minor, but he still retain the loyal support of some friends and prominent public figures in Singapore, including PAP MP for Tampines GRC Baey Yam Keng.

33 former colleagues, students and friends of Lee penned their names down on a petition pleading for leniency on his behalf which was presented to the judge this morning.

Instead of asking Lee to reflect on his own behavior, Baey Yam Keng expressed his support for him in the petition willingly without much thoughts.

Speaking to queries from the media, Mr Baey, who was the President of the Singapore Volleyball Association said:

“Though he (Lee) spent only a short period of time in the Association, he had made tremendous contributions to it.”

When NUS PRC scholar Sun Xu called Singaporeans ‘dogs’ two months ago, Mr Baey immediately asked Singaporeans to ‘reflect’ on their own behavior, sparking a massive outcry which he later apologized for in Parliament.

Pinoy FT sneers at Singaporeans: We Filipinos speak better English and think better than your local graduates!

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

Are Filipino workers preferred over Singaporeans because they speak better English than us? At least one Filipino ‘foreign talent’ Glenn Quilon Barrometro seems to think so.

Since Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong started his Facebook page last Saturday, it was inundated with pledges of support and gratitude from the immigrants and foreigners who have benefited from the PAP’s pro-foreigner policies, one of whom is Filipino ‘FT” Angelo Marc Jandugan who wrote:

“Hello sir, on behalf of all the Filipino community in Singapore and new citizens like myself, we thank you so much for believing in us and I hope you will continue your good policy of bringing more people from all over the word to take Singapore forward.”

According to his Facebook page, Angelo Marc Jandugan graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman ranked 322 in Asia and is currently working at Deutsche Bank, Singapore leading to some Singaporeans to question why he was employed by such a prestigious bank when there are many Singaporean graduates who can do his job.

In a discussion thread on Facebook, Glenn wrote:

“University Philippines Diliman may not be at par with NUS, but because we can speak English and think better than your university graduates (plus we only get meager salaries from multinationals….), they chose to hire us.”

He also took a jibe at Singaporeans asking them to ‘farm’ in North Korea if they can’t compete with foreigners:

“You are already living in a competitive world! If you can’t compete, you can’t survive! that’s all it! Go to North Korea and farm there if you don’t want competitions!”

According to information posted on his Facebook, Glenn is currently working as a Cobol Programmer Trainee at IBM Solutions Delivery and he lives in a HDB flat in Choa Chu Kang. He graduated from De La Salle University in the Philippines. It is not known if he is a Singapore PR or new citizen.

Pinoy new citizen urges PM Lee to ignore Singaporeans and continue to bring more foreigners into Singapore

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

Instead of serving as a platform to reach out to the online community, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s newly set up Facebook page has been turned into a ‘slugfest’ of sort between native Singaporeans and foreigners with the former filing numerous complaints on it with the latter defending the government.

One Filipino new citizen Angelo Marc Jandugan posted a comment defending PM Lee on his Facebook asking him to ignore Singaporeans who have been imploring him to reduce the inflow of immigrants.

“PM Lee, I have absolute faith in you and I hope you don’t get distracted listening to all these sarcastic naysayers…they only know how to complain without offering credible solutions…..”, he wrote, sounding exactly like a PAP apologist.

He also called on PM Lee to hire more ‘talented foreigners’ and not be swayed by public opinion on immigration policies:

“I am so proud to have made Singapore home for me and my family and the credit goes all to you and your efficient govt. I hope you will not be distracted from your policies of hiring more talented foreigners to take this young nation forward. You must stay firm to your beliefs and not be swayed by public opinion on immigration policies.”

[Source: PM Lee’s Facebook]

According to his Facebook page, Angelo Marc Jandugan graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman and is currently working at Deutsche Bank, Singapore. He is probably earning much more here in Singapore than back home.

Angelo Marc Jandugan need not be too worried as the Singapore government has proclaimed its intention to mass-import more ‘foreign talent’ like himself into Singapore as exemplified by a statement released by the National Talent and Population Division under the Prime Minister’s Office two days ago:

“We will continue to ensure that we take in immigrants who are of good quality and able to integrate well into our society.”

The University of the Philippines Diliman, is ranked 332 by QS, and 753 by webometrics but can’t be found on the list of THE and ARWU.

Some responses from netizens on PM Lee’s Facebook:

“Angelo Marc Jandugan, i guess when war happen and you and your family is the 1st to fly out of singapore. “your singapore”.. lol” – Marco Koh

“Pinoy receiving all the benefits that our gov is providing them. Of coz they are praising our ” beloved” gov. Its like our gov are allowing FTs to enter your house and use your toilet and maybe have a fling with ur wife /gf and then telling u to move on and it’s unavoidable.
How wonderful.” – Calvin Tan

Ex-principal Lee Lip Hong breaks down and cries in court: I am too weak to resist ‘distractions’

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

The former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong broke down and cried in court today as the judge sentenced him to nine weeks imprisonment for having commercial sex with his minor. When the jail sentence was handed down at about noon, Lee was seen wiping tears from his eyes.

His lawyer Melanie Ho has pleaded for leniency saying that Lee did not suspect anything was wrong and had no reason to doubt the age of the underage prostitute, based on her physical appearance, demeanour and maturity.

Ms Ho said her client was very remorseful and understood that he had made a very serious mistake.

Lee later requested to plead personally, telling the judge that even though he changed his mind and decided to engage a counsel, he never changed his decision to plead guilty.

He added he was fully ashamed of his actions, which have caused pain and harm to his family, especially his wife and many others who entrusted him to be their role model.

“I would like to confess that I am fully ashamed of my own actions, and more importantly the pain and harm that I have caused to my family members, especially my wife. My wife has magnanimously taken a tough decision to forgive me, and even proposed to reaffirm our wedding vows once again.”

In mitigation, Lee admitted his mistake was caused by his ‘weak resistance’ to ‘distractions’ and his personal lack of control of his own moral standards.

Besides Lee Lip Hong, another former teacher and prominent grassroots leader in Jurong Chua Ren Cheng was also charged for having sex with the same underage prostitutes.

Private home prices down 0.1 percent as resale flat prices continue to rise

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

In a sign that the booming property market may be reaching an end, the prices of private residential properties in Singapore showed a slight decline by 0.1 percent in the first quarter of 2012.

According to latest statistics from URA, prices of non-landed properties in core central region (CCR) and rest of central region (RCR) both fell by 0.6 per cent in the first quarter.

However, the prices of resale HDB flats continue to climb, registering an increase of 0.6 percent over the same period of time.

The government has introduced a slew of measures lately in an attempt to curb the sky-rocketing prices by releasing more new BTO flats into the market.

The HDB has offered 8,076 flats under the Build-To-Order (BTO) exercises and another 3,825 flats under a Sale of Balance Flats exercise in the first quarter to ramp up supply of HDB flats.

Ex-principal Lee Lip Hong jailed 9 weeks for having sex with underage prostitute

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

The former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong (pic left with PAP MP Josephine Teo) has been sentenced to nine weeks’ jail for having paid sex with a minor, a sign of what is in store for the other 47 men who have been charged for the same offence.

Lee was charged for paying $500 twice to have sex with the prostitute ‘Miss XXX’ who was 17 years old at the time of the offence twice on 26 September and 10 December in 2010. He pleaded guilty on Friday morning.

The court heard that Lee first came to know of the girl’s services from an online porn site ‘theviemodels.com’ ran by pimp Tang Boon Thiew who had sex with the same girl earlier for only $50.

Unable to resist the temptation, Lee procured her services through the website which stated the girl’s age as 18 years old.

In mitigation, Lee’s lawyer Melanie Ho told the court that her client was misled about the girl’s real age and when he met the girl’s pimp, Tang Boon Thiew, he was told that the girl was 19 years old.

Ms Ho said Lee had no reason to suspect that she was younger than her stated age on the website. She said when Lee met the girl, she told him she was 19 years old.

Despite obviously being deceived into the ‘deal’, Lee was convicted and sentenced to imprisonment, bringing an end to his otherwise illustrious teaching career.

Meanwhile, the girl can now continue to prostitute herself legally as she is now 19 years of age . A gag order has been imposed on exposing her identity and as such her future clients will never realize they are having sex with the girl who caused the downfall of 48 men and possibly many more to come.

Police warns Singaporean not to call Pinoy lady who did not pay fare to return the money

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

The ‘pinoy cabby’ saga took a sudden turn when the cabby’s son went to lodge a police report yesterday evening.

A pinoy lady took a cab on 22 April 2012, but refused to pay the cabby the fare upon reaching the destination claiming that she has no money. She initially promised to transfer the fare to his bank account, but has not done so after four days.

Under Chapter 259B of the Penal Code, failure to pay taxi fare is a CRIME:

“24D. Any person who, having made use of a taxi service and without reasonable excuse, fails or refuses to pay the fare as indicated on the taximeter shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 and, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.”

Channel News Asia reported in August 2011 that a public transport official or police officer may also arrest without warrant any person believed to have committed an offence – such as failing to pay a taxi fare – under the Public Transport Council Act. The passenger can be detained until his name and address have been ascertained, so that he can be brought to court. (read more here)

However, when ‘VanPersie’ went to lodge a police report this evening, he was not only told by the police officer that they ‘cannot do anything’, he was also WARNED not to call the pinoy lady to demand the payment as it is ‘illegal’ to do so:

“Police say they cannot do anything..cannot call her…say if call her =helping to chat back debt which is illegal…simi lan sia lol”  (read more here)

Fortunately for the cabby, with the help and support of netizens, the pinoy lady succumb to public pressure and finally repaid the money owed.

‘VanPersie’ did not mention where he lodged a police report. It is strange that the police did not arrest the culprit and enforce the law despite having her particulars. What is the point of having the Public Transport Act when the police don’t bother to do anything against the offenders? Or was the pinoy lady given preferential treatment because she is a ‘foreign talent’?

‘Flying Dutchman’ lectures Singaporeans: Stop complaining about influx of foreigners!

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

One Singaporean tuning in to Class 95 morning show today at 9am was shocked when he heard its host ‘The Flying Dutchman’ aka Mark van Cuylenburg giving a lecture to Singaporeans which goes something like this:

“I am entitled to my own opinion which might be different from yours. Singaporeans should stop always complaining about influx of workers. Singaporeans must know that we have a low birthrate. Singapore’s economy is not sustainable by a ageing population unless Singapore’s birthrate goes up! Since Singapore herself cannot ensure a healthy supply of workers, Singaporeans should stop complaining about influx of workers to keep our economy going!”

A recent white paper released by the National Talent and Population Division under the Prime Minister’s Office revealed that Singapore needs to sustain its population growth via immigration:

“We will continue to ensure that we take in immigrants who are of good quality and able to integrate well into our society.”

His comments sparked a furore on Hardwarezone forum with many forummers lampooning him for it:

“He’s full of sh1t.. he sits pretty in his safe room at the mediacock studio.. how the hell would he know about the issues we peasants face? He knows nothing about our world.” – canisayno

“Yes, I do agreed that we need FT and FW. But there is always a limit to all things. Drink water is gd for health, too much will kill u too.” – evq

“that cunt face mark needs to know who to bark and what to bark at. the issue is not so much the influx of foreigners, it is how PAP is making our lives so hard that we do not dare to have children for fear of their future. This is the biggest issue.” – theballstopshere

Desmond Choo launches project to provide free hearing aids to Hougang elderly residents

Posted by temasektimes on April 27, 2012

In the absence of a MP in Hougang, PAP grassroots adviser for Hougang Grassroots Organizations Desmond Choo has been filling in the void to serve the residents.

Hougang was left without a MP less than a year after the General Election after its ex-MP Yaw Shin Leong was sacked from the Workers Party over his failure to address rumors swirling around his alleged extra-marital affairs with multiple married women, including two fellow party members who contested in the election and a neighbor from China.

Two weeks after launching a job hub to help unemployed residents in Hougang, Mr Desmond Choo launched “Project Communication” to provide the elderly with free hearing aids as part of a collaboration between Hougang Citizens’ Consultative Committee and Sunlove Home

Each hearing aid costs around $200 and the cost is sponsored by Sunlove Home.

In an interview with the media, recipient Mr Yeo Kim Chai, 77 said:

“My hearing has improved greatly and I feel more comfortable.”

Many residents were full of praise of Mr Choo who has done much more for Hougang residents than its ex-MP Yaw Shin Leong.

[Source: Desmond Choo’s Facebook]

Despite his busy work schedule, Mr Choo has been visiting Hougang residents almost daily as well as holding his unofficial ‘Meet-the-People’ sessions on Monday evenings at Hougang Community Club.

Meanwhile, the Workers’ Party is nowhere to be seen, heard or found in Hougang other than a few token visits by its former MP Low Thia Kiang and his new ‘protege’ Png Eng Huat who still does not have a Facebook page yet. The Facebook pages of the Workers Party and Hougang SMC are also not updated for a long-time.

Workers Party members and supporters have been boasting unashamedly in cyberspace that WP will win Hougang with its ‘eyes closed’ and ask Mr Choo not to waste his time as Hougang is a ‘property’ of WP.

To learn more about Mr Choo, please visit his Facebook page here.
