Cabby’s widow Lim Choo Eng: We will not blame anybody

Posted by temasektimes on May 18, 2012

The family of the late Cheng Teck Hock (pic left) wants to put the past behind them and move on in life.

Mr Cheng was involved in a fatal accident at Bugis last Saturday morning when a speeding Ferrari driven by PRC national Ma Chi rammed into his Comfort Delgro taxi at a junction between Rochor Road and Victoria Street.

He died of his injuries on Sunday evening, leaving behind his wife Lim Choo Eng and three children aged between 16 and 21 years old.

In an interview with Lianhe Zaobao, Madam Lim said:

“We will not blame anybody, just hope to let everything pass.”

Madam Lim also thank members of the public for their offer of condolence and support to help the family tide over this difficult period in life.

There is still no apology or offer of compensation to the victims from Ma Chi’s family yet whose wealth is reported to be in ‘millions’ by the media.

“Letting go” is one of the best attributes in Life. Living in the past only creates depression. Having anxiety is living in the future which nobody can predict. Letting go and be at peace is living in the present. I salute Mdm Lim Choo Eng for this gallant move.

It good to let go and move on but the evil must be punished. Legal proceedings should be the next path to take.

See, this is SINGAPOREAN V.S PRC. Singaporeans are so gracious.

The PRC family on the other hand don’t even apologize for their rotten son that cause the death of the family’s SOLE BREADWINNER.

The PRC family still got cheek to say they are not wrong. And even our government cover for them.

60% WAKE UP and SEE WHAT THE PAP has done BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!!

What if the one who got hit and killed is your husband/father/son, and the PAP defends the foreigner?
