Peter Lim may spend up to $500,000 in legal fees to fight his corruption case

Posted by temasektimes on July 7, 2012

Disgraced former Chief Commissioner of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Peter Lim Sin Pang may spend up to $500,000 in legal fees to fight his coming corruption case, according to tabloid reports.

Peter Lim Sin Pang will be claiming trial to 10 counts of obtaining sexual gratification from three women between May 2010 and November 2011  in exchange for favouring their companies during IT-related tenders held by the SCDF.

One of the women, former NCS director of business development Ester Goh Tok Mui. reportedly had sex with him seven times in his Tanjong Rhu apartment which he lives with his wife.

Other than his own apartment, Peter Lim is said to have engaged in sexual trysts with Goh in public places such as at various car parks and three times in a Clementi flat. Goh has since left NCS.

Peter Lim has engaged the services of senior lawyer Bala Chandran to defend him which may cost him up to $500,000 or more eventually assuming the trial takes about 10 days.

Despite the eye-popping amount, it should be just ‘peanuts’ to Peter Lim who reportedly earn more than $50,000 monthly as a ‘Superscale’ civil servant.

Hmm, average of $50,000 for a BJ from a 40+yo MILF is kinda expensive…. I can get much better value for $$$ elsewhere.

Peter likes the 3 40+ MILFs as he probably thinks they are ‘Virgins’ still…very exciting & thrilling for him to play with them LOL!

Pure speculation. I look forward to reading about the court case. If it is ethics, then it is not criminal. Lawyers earn their keep by doing a forensic dissection of the case and focus on very narrow arguments.

  9. Peter Lim, your govt. &police are not stupid as you think. You are a disgrace to Singaporeans. You are so well known notoriously all over the Globe. Remember that with today’s technology and mass communications you cannot hide. You should just stick your dick to your wife and not take advantage of these women whose lives are being destroyed.
You abused your position in the government.

What a shallow person who did not think that somethings are priceless: one’s dignity and one’s reputation. Whatever money he spends, he is not going to be able to buy back the face that he has lost, for himself and most importantly, his family. I feel sorry for his children.

With your salary, you can gett he cream of the top PFS gals in town. Why risk your whole life for a few free BJs. Now you loose your family, pension and respect. Is it worth it. Now $500,000+ legal fees, and also not sure can get aqquited. Let see what the court thinks. For a scholar, you are not too smart

Sex can bring down influential people and also govt. Remember Chrsten Keller, she singlehandedly brought down the British govt in the 60s. Top American scientists blackmailed by Russian women spies to divulge state secrets, all using sex to achieve their aim.

  14. My simple advice:
When one plays with fire, one must be be ready to get burnt. When u’re burnt, wake up and accept the consequences. Don’t try to run away unscathed b’cos u can’t, more likely than not. Getting lawyers to plead mitigation means spending money that u may sorely need going forward, as u’ve probably lost ur job. U can plead mitigation urself by asking for forgiveness as to err is human. Then move on from here, being history.

I’m curious to find out what blog platform you’re utilizing?

I’m having some minor security problems with my latest website and I would like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any recommendations?
