Senior lawyer and SAF officer among third batch of men to be charged for sex with underage prostitute

A senior lawyer and high-ranking SAF officer are among the third batch of men to be charged soon for sex with the same underage prostitute who has already got 48 men into trouble with the law!

According to media reports, the next batch of men to be charged include many professionals from the business world and finance sector as well.

At least three lawyers are among them, one of whom is a senior well-known lawyer in Singapore who is working as a senior partner in a prestigious law firm.

The SAF officer holds important leadership positions and is believed to be the highest-ranking officer from the Ministry of Defence to be charged for an offence in recent years.

Among the 48 men already charged include 9 civil servants, a senior banker, a company director, a senior vice-president of a private company, lawyers, a senior police officer, the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong and prominent grassroots leader and high-ranking MOE official Chua Ren Cheng. Their ages range from between 21 to 48 years old.

The pimp Tang Boon Thiew also had sex with the same girl for $50 and had earlier been charged last year.

The shocking sex scandal has polarized public opinion in Singapore with some condemning the men for having sex with an underage girl while girls want the girl’s identity to be revealed and shamed publicly as well.

While the 80 over men paid a premium rate of $500 or more to have sex with the polytechnic student cum underage prostitute who got them into trouble with the law, pimp Tang Boon Thiew (pic) paid her only $50 to ‘try her out’ before passing her to them!

According to court documents, Tang Boon Thiew, the mastermind of the online vice ring was slapped with 35 charges in December last year including 17 charges of pimping the girls, 16 charges of living off their earnings and 2 charges of having sex with an underage girl.

Tang was accused of paying $50 to have sex with the girl, leading some to speculate that it may be the same girl who slept with 80 over men.

Previous media reports claimed that Tang would usually have sex with the girls first to ‘test’ them in bed and to impart some knowledge and skills before ‘marketing’ them on his online vice site as ‘models.’

He would recruit the girls to join his model agency on Facebook before luring them with promises of money to entice them into the vice trade. As a ‘requirement’ to work as a prostitute, they must first pass an ‘entry test’ of pleasing him in bed satisfactorily before they can be ‘inducted’ officially into his ‘stable’. He would then take a cut from their earnings as his ‘commission’.

The 17 year old girl was studying at a local polytechnic when she started working as a prostitute and was described as having the following attributes on the site.

“18 years old. Singapore Chinese. Student and part-time model. 1.60m tall, slim figure, C-cup breasts…(She) still has that naive girlishness, offers excellent sweet young thing, girlfriend experience….Advance booking for (her) is required, don’t leave it to least minute booking as it always almost won’t work!”

Besides vaginal sex, she reportedly also offered other services such as “BBBJ, AJ, AR, CIM” which explained her higher rates than other girls in Tang’s stable.

Despite the gravity of his offences and the fact that he is the ringleader of the online vice ring, the state media chose to shift public attention to his clients to downplay his involvement leading some to speculate if he is a ‘white horse’ related to the ruling elite with some unverified rumors circulating in cyberspace that his mother is related to a public figure from a political party in Singapore.

Besides the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong, a former teacher and Head of Department in Jurong Junior College Chua Ren Cheng was charged in court on Wednesday for having commercial sex with the same underage prostitute!

Said to be a popular teacher among students and a fast rising star in the education sector, Chua tendered his resignation abruptly in January this year, much to the surprise of fellow colleagues. He studied his ‘A’ levels at Hwa Chong Junior College before pursuing a   Masters in Radiation Physics with Medical Applications at University College, London.

According to media reports, Chua reportedly hanged out frequently with Lee and another unnamed teacher and the three of them used to patronize prostitutes together. It is not known if Chua is a PAP member as well.

Lee Lip Hong was among the first batch of 44 men charged on Monday for having sex with a minor. He has pleaded guilty and told the media that he is willing to be punished for his mistake.

Other men  include 9 civil servants, a senior banker, a company director, a senior vice-president of a private company, lawyers, a senior police officer, as well as the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong. Their ages range from between 21 to 48 years old.

The pimp and mastermind behind the online vice syndicate, 39 year old Tang Boon Thiew has been charged last year.

Education Minister Heng Swee Kiat has earlier said it is important not to let “one or two incidents” tarnish the image of the teaching profession, because there are many good teachers around.

He added that there would be a couple of black sheep from time to time in spite of efforts to maintain professional standards.

Four more men were charged in court on Wednesday for having commercial sex with a minor from an online vice syndicate, one of them being Howard Shaw, the former executive director of the Singapore Environment Council and a grandson of the founder of Shaw Organization Runme Shaw.

Goh and Buergin face two charges each. Prosecutors today also applied to the court for non-disclosure of any particulars that could lead to the identification of the girl allegedly involved after Mr Subhas Anandan, who acts for 10 of the 48 accused men, had challenged on Monday that the charges for his clients were flawed because they did not contain any details of the girl allegedly involved.

In an interview with the media, Mr Subhas Anandan reportedly said:

“How is anybody going to know what he is charged for when you don’t know who the girl is, and what her age is? Who are they trying to protect? As far as I am concerned, this girl does not deserve protection as she is a HARDCORE PROSTITUTE who got so many men into trouble”

The girl was 17 years old and studying at a local polytechnic when the offences were committed. She allegedly had sex with more than 80 men and once had marathon sex with four different men in a single day.

The shocking revelation was made in court on Monday based on a ‘sex diary‘ kept by the prostitute who kept meticulous records of all the sessions she had with her clients, including their particulars, time and place.

Some of the men who had sex with her include 9 civil servants, a senior banker, a company director, a senior vice-president of a private company, lawyers, a senior police officer, as well as the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong. Their ages range from between 21 to 48 years old.

On 10 October, 2010 she had sex with four men at the following time and place:

Sng Kok Wee: Hotel 81 at 2pm.

Ng Guan Mean: M Hotel at 2.30pm.

Fong Kok Liang (41 years old): Hotel 81 at 3pm.

Foo Kim Meng (45 years old): Hotel 81 at 4pm.

Many of the men are her ‘regular’ clients. Lee Lip Hong, the former school principal of Pei Chun Public School had sex with her TWICE on 26 September and 14 December in 2010 while another man Foo Kim Meng had sex with her FOUR TIMES between October 2010 and January 2011.

The 17 year old student was studying in a local polytechnic when she started providing sex services to men, charging a premium rate of $500 per session. Her pimp 39 year old businessman Tang Boon Thiew who ‘tried’ her before would take a commission for each client she got through his online porn site.

On the morning of 26 Sept 2010, the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong was preaching about ‘morality and ethics’ to a packed assembly of students and parents. The day before, he was having sex with a 17 year old prostitute who is old enough to be his daughter.

According to court documents, Lee pad $500 to have sex with the underage prostitute twice on 26 September and 10 December in 2010.

He was charged on Monday for having sex with a minor. Unrepresented by any lawyer, he said he intends to plead guilty which could see him spending some time in jail.

In an interview with Lianhe Zaobao, a former principal of Pei Chun Public School for more than thirty years Mr Chen Jingyuan expressed his disappointment at Lee:

“We educators want to see the next generation having higher standards of morality which is more important than anything else. Results are secondary. It’s regretful to see such an incident happening in the education sector.”

44 men were charged on Monday for having sex with an underage prostitute who was seventeen years old at the time of the offence. One of them is the former principal of Pei Chun Public School Lee Lip Hong.

Ten of them reportedly engage the services of prominent criminal lawyer Subhas Anandan to defend them.

The mastermind of the online vice syndicate is a 39 year old businessman Tang Boon Thiew who has already been charged last year.

During the court session, lawyer Subhas Anandan took issue with the charge sheets.

“How is anybody going to know what he is charged for when you don’t know who the girl is, and what her age is? Who are they trying to protect? As far as I am concerned, this girl does not deserve protection as she is a HARDCORE PROSTITUTE who got so many men into trouble”

Mr Subhas said he would take the case all the way up to the High Court if the prosecution refuse to give him the particulars of the girl:

“We just can’t accept the word of the prosecution… We are going to ask the prosecution, the DPP, to give us further particulars. If they do not give us the further particulars, we will take it up in the High Court,” he said.

In an interview with the media, Mr Subhas described the girl as a HARDCORE prostitute who deserves no protection from the law. His comments were first aired on Channel 8 evening news yesterday, but was censored in subsequent news broadcasts.

According to unverified information circulating on the internet, the girl studied in a secondary school in Choa Chu Kang after which she enrolled in a local polytechnic in the western part of Singapore.

She was described as 1.60m tall, slim and having C-cup breasts on the online vice site where the men procured her services from. She charged $500 per session. As she is a minor, her name cannot be revealed.

PIMP Tang Boon Thiew set up model agency as a front to persuade girls to offer sex services

The mastermind behind the online vice syndicate was reportedly a 39 year old businessman Tang Boon Thiew who studied overseas and was a director of at least five registered companies in Singapore.

According to media reports, Tang set up a model agency last year as a front to recruit potential prostitutes into the vice trade. The girls were first lured to work as models before being persuaded to offer sex services as well.

They were then taught by Tang on the ‘skills’ needed to make men happy in bed. He boasted on his porn site that all his prostitutes are models, undergraduates and white collar workers.

In a last-ditch effort to save his own skin, Tang sold his clients out by releasing their particulars to the police. 44 of them have been charged in court today for having sex with a minor, including Lee Lip Hong, the former principal of Pei Chun Public School. Tang has not been charged for any offences yet.

The prostitutes under Tang’s stable charged between $200 to more than $1000 per session with Tang taking a chunk of their earnings as commission.

Tang lives in a HDB flat in Bukit Panjang with his parents and drove a Mercedes Benz to work. Neighbors described him as a friendly and affable person and were shocked to learn that he earns his living off prostitutes.
